Want to know what the Work as Worship Retreat is all about? Here's an overview.

REGISTRATION CLOSES MAY 16, SUNDAY

What is Work As Worship Retreat (WAWR)?

Work As Worship Retreat is a one-day gathering organized by RightNow Media to help people break down the wall between Sunday and the rest of the week. It is designed to encourage and equip Christians to see work as an act of worship. It focuses on the 8 Tenets of Work as Worship:

  1. Work is good.
  2. Sin corrupted work.
  3. Jesus makes it possible for work to be redeemed.
  4. God gave us a mission.
  5. We carry Christ into our work.
  6. God grows us through our work.
  7. God can do more in our work than we can imagine.
  8. Work is worship.

When and where is WAWR taking place?

Work As Worship Retreat will be taking place live in-person in Dallas, Texas. BUT the good news is, the International Baptist Church of Singapore (IBC Singapore) is one of the event hosts/partners, which means that we can also take part in this event right here in Singapore! Join us on May 22.

In line with the recent tightening of restrictions in Singapore, the Work as Worship Retreat's organizing committee is exploring the best setup in order to fulfill the goals of this event. Please join us in prayer as we seek God's wisdom and guidance in finalizing the timing and logistics related to this change.

Who is WAWR for?

Work As Worship Retreat is for everyone—not just those who work nine to five in an office. If you want to grow in your faith and learn how work can be an act of worship, we invite you to attend.

What can I expect from WAWR?

We will be watching pre-recorded video messages from industry-leading speakers like John Maxwell, Louie Giglio, Stephanie Chung, Jon Acuff, David L. Steward, Brandon K. Mann and Henry Cloud. In-between the video sessions, we will also have some time for personal reflections, breakout group discussion, and sharing.

This is an excellent opportunity to network and connect with like-minded individuals and learn how we, as a Christian community, can work together to ensure that God's Kingdom work is done well in the marketplace.

What is the cost of registration?

It's 50USD per attendee and all proceeds will go to RightNow Media, the main organizer and content producer of Work As Worship Retreat. The registration fee covers conference materials, which will be sent to all participants via email prior to the event date.

Can I apply for a subsidy?
