WHAT IS CHURCH CAMP AND WHO CAN ATTEND?

IBC CHURCH CAMP is an opportunity for all of IBC to come together for a time of spiritual rest and recreation through worship and fellowship. This 3-day 2-night program is open to all IBCers. You may sign up with your family or friends from IBC. If you're new to IBC and just starting to get to know the community here, this is the perfect opportunity to get engaged!

WHAT IS THIS YEAR'S THEME?

This year's theme, "Take Root, Bear Fruit." is based on our guiding verse, John 15:5 - "I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing."

Our new Senior Pastor, Isaac Roberts, will be this year's Church Camp speaker!

Together, we will dive into John 15 as we TAKE ROOT in Christ, develop rhythms and habits of ABIDING, and trust God through the PRUNING process, so that we can BEAR FRUIT through a life of godly character.

WHAT ELSE CAN WE LOOK FORWARD TO AT THIS YEAR'S CHURCH CAMP?

It is our prayer that our Church Camp will provide IBCers an opportunity to:

1. Come together as a church family and TAKE ROOT through immersion in Christ-centered fellowship and renewal through Spirit-led rest and recreation;
2. Build a deeper relationship with God through bible study and learning how to BEAR FRUIT by applying His word in our daily lives; and
3. Encourage IBCers to reconnect and reinforce our sense of belonging within our IBC community through spiritual fellowship.

On top of joint sessions where we will be worshipping together through songs, God's word, prayer, and group discussions, we will also have time to engage with each other through community activities.

During our free time, there are options to go for golf, Water World, Safari Wonderland, and even a Factory Outlet! Please indicate your interest when you register.

WHEN AND WHERE WILL THE CHURCH CAMP BE HELD THIS YEAR?

It will be from September 5-7, 2025, Friday to Sunday, at PARKROYAL A'Famosa Melaka Resort.

For those taking the bus from IBC, there will be options to leave on Friday morning at 8:00am, or Friday evening at 6:00pm.

For those driving directly to the hotel, please note that check-in will start at 12:00nn on Friday, September 5.

WHAT ARE THE REGISTRATION FEES LIKE?

Regular Registration is from July 7 to August 3. We encourage you to take hold of these rates:

• Senior Adults (non-working, above 63 years old): $280
• Adults (13 years old and older): $320
• Children (6-12 years old): $280
• Young children (below 6 years old): FREE but still need to be registered

Late Registration is from August 4 to 24:

• Senior Adults (non-working, above 63 years old): $300
• Adults (13 years old and older): $360
• Children (6-12 years old): $300
• Young children (below 6 years old): FREE but still need to be registered

All the above fees are inclusive of full board and lodging for a 3-day, 2-night stay in a twin-sharing/double occupancy room at ParkRoyal. Single occupancy is available at an additional cost.

For registrants opting for single occupancy, the following room rates will apply:

• Regular Registration: $500
• Late Registration: $520

Transportation fee is $50 per head for a two-way bus ride from IBC and back. Parking is free for those who will be driving to the venue.

All paying participants will be given a t-shirt. Please refer to the available sizes below.

For those signing up during the Late Registration period, we regret that we cannot guarantee the availability of your preferred t-shirt sizes.

HOW DO WE REGISTER?

ALL participants (regardless of age) will need to register INDIVIDUALLY.

Please make sure that you have the information listed below ready for a smooth and easy process:

1. Passport details: Name as printed on passport, passport number and expiry date (should not be earlier than 07 March 2026)
2. T-shirt sizes: Please refer to the charts above to find your size. Due to logistical limitations, we will not be able to entertain an exchange of sizes.
3. Proof of payment: Based on the current camp fees, please add the cost of registration (plus transportation, if applicable) and transfer the total amount to IBC by scanning the PayNow QR code below. Take a screenshot of the proof of payment and be ready to upload it when you register.
4. Special assistance: Indicate if you have any mobility concerns. We will do our best to assign you to a room with special mobility access.
5. Room preference (subject to availability)

• Type A: king bed for single occupancy
• Type B: king bed for double occupancy
• Type C: twin super-single beds for double occupancy
• Type D: connecting room (connects 1 king and 1 twin super-single bedrooms) - ideal for bigger families
• Type E: king bed + extra bed for family of 3

IMPORTANT NOTE: If you're signing up as a family or a pair of friends, please register using the same email address and mobile number as the Primary Registrant. This will allow our registration and rooming team to easily identify that your members are from the same group.

Example 1: Registering as a Family

1. Dad (Primary Registrant) - registers with dad@family.we, mobile number 87654321

3. Child 1 - should also register with dad@family.we, and 87654321

Scenario 2: Registering as Friends for Double Occupancy

If your group registers under different email addresses and mobile numbers, we cannot guarantee that you will be assigned together in the same room.

Please note that due to logistical requirements, which need to be confirmed with third-party vendors, all registration fees are non-refundable, but transferable.

I WOULD LIKE TO HELP. WHAT CAN I DO?

We are so glad you asked!! We will be needing help in these areas:

• REGISTRATION/LOGISTICS: PACKING

1. Manpower needed: 15 pax on August 22
2. Prepare the campers' packs

• REGISTRATION/LOGISTICS: DISTRIBUTION OF CAMPERS' PACKS

1. Manpower needed: 6 pax before and after each service on August 30-31
2. Ensure that the collection of each camper's pack is logged and tracked accurately

• REGISTRATION/CHECK-IN

1. Manpower needed: 6 pax on September 5
2. Be at the hotel by 11am at the latest
3. Monitor arrival of participants at the hotel
4. Give out hotel keys of assigned rooms to respective campers

• KIDS' PROGRAM

1. Manpower needed: 18 pax on September 6
2. Assist teacher in keeping the kids engaged 
3. Crafts preparation
4. Facilitate/support kids during activities and crafts

• COACH/BUS ICs

1. Manpower needed: 7 pax on September 5 (8am), 2 pax on September 5 (6pm) - to be the same ICs for the trip back to SG on September 7
2. Maintaining Passenger Register: keep a list of passengers who has boarded your assigned coach
3. Loading and unloading: Gather passengers in the waiting area and ensure a smooth loading and unloading process at various points, including:
4. Loading at IBC
5. Unloading before ICA and loading after ICA
6. Unloading/loading during toilet stops (if applicable)
7. Unloading at Melaka
8. Communication: Keep the Transportation Lead informed about bus locations and any issues that may arise during the trip

• GAMES

1. Help pass around the mic 
2. Distribute pen and paper
3. Assist congregation with their phones (will use Kahoot or Mentimeter for a game)
