What is VBS? Who can attend VBS?
Vacation Bible School, or VBS for short, is a special holiday program primarily aimed at ministering to children from the International Baptist Church (IBC) of Singapore. It is also an outreach and evangelism opportunity for children who have not heard the Gospel, or do not attend church. Children ages 3 to 12 will learn about God through Bible stories, activities, music, crafts, games, and even fellowship over tasty snacks, all set to a creative theme that changes yearly!

When and where will VBS be held this year?
VBS will be hosted by IBC from June 5-8, 2024. We are located at 81 King’s Road, Singapore 266358. Key dates and timings for this year's VBS week are listed below. Save the dates!
- VBS Day for 3-12 year-olds (June 5-7, Wed-Fri): 9:00am-1:00pm
- VBXpress for 7-12 year-olds (June 5-7, Wed-Fri): 6:00pm-8:00pm
- Family Night for everyone (June 8, Sat): 5:00-7:00pm
What can we look forward to at VBS?
This year at VBS, children ages 3 to 12 will learn to recognize the difference between what the world says is true and what God says is true, and will be challenged to know that God’s truth never changes! They will also learn that everyone needs Jesus, and learn to speak the truth in love.
Adventure awaits each day as kids explore tide pools, spot orcas, fly kites, and watch the mighty waves crash up against the immovable Breaker Rock!
Will food be provided?
Our Kitchen Team will be preparing snack food and drinks for children attending VBS Day and VBXpress. If your child has a special diet or any food allergy, please pack snacks for him/her to consume during VBS.
On Saturday, June 8, after our finale at Family Night, all children and their families will also get a chance to have fellowship over a light dinner.
Can I attend VBS with my child?
VBS is a children-only program. This means that parents are not allowed to accompany their child(ren) during the daily sessions. Please rest assured that your child(ren) will be in the good and able hands of our workers.
Can I invite children who do not attend IBC?
Yes, please! Our VBS is mainly for children in IBC and continues to serve as an outreach to children who are not attending church. As an evangelistic program, we strongly encourage registrants from IBC and other churches to invite a child who is not attending church. Registration for children from other churches will open on April 22, 2024.
Will my child(ren) be in the same group as their friends or siblings?
Children are grouped according to their ages and grades at the discretion of the VBS team; they may not be with their friends and/or siblings.
What is the cost of registration?
Registration costs are inclusive of our fun program, a limited edition t-shirt, a goodie bag, daily snack food and drinks. A good deal not to be missed; so what are you waiting for?!
- April 6-21: Early Bird Price ($40) - for IBC attendees
- April 22-May 19: Normal Price ($60) - for IBC attendees and general public
- May 20-29: Late Registration Price ($80) - for all, but with limited availability

Where can I register my child(ren) for VBS?
Just complete the your child(ren)'s details and send along your proof of payment through the form linked below. Submit one form per child please.

How do I know if my registration has been received?
Please look out for a confirmation email within 7 days of submitting your form.
How and where can I collect my child’s VBS t-shirt?
Your child’s t-shirt will be ready for collection at IBC on June 5, Wednesday, when he/she checks in at our event registration tables. Do come early :)
How will I receive announcements on VBS?
Please ensure your email address and contact number are entered correctly upon registration. We will be communicating with you via these means.
I would like to volunteer for VBS. Where can I sign up?
Thank you for your willingness to serve with us! We require all VBS volunteers to be at least 16 years of age and commit to all three days of either VBS Day or VBXpress. Please click on Workers' Info & Registration page linked below:
